Alloy Steel Wire

Phosphor Bronze Spring Wire

 (16)
Alloy 510 Phosphor bronze is one of the most popular copper-base alloys used in spring making, because it provides both corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity. Gibbs stocks Grade "A" (95% copper, 4.75" tin, 0.25% phosphorus) spring wire, 8 numbers hard. Wire is available in size ranges from 0.0254" - 0.125"

Inconel X750 Spring Temper

 (41)
Inconel X750 (AMS 5699) is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy used for its corrosion and oxidation resistance and high strength at temperatures to 1300°F. Wire is available in size ranges from 0.020" - 0.625".

Inconel 600 Spring Wire

 (36)
Inconel 600 is a spring quality, cold drawn wire made from a nickel base. It provides good corrosion resistance at operating temperatures up to 700°F. The alloy also has excellent mechanical properties and presents the desirable combination of high strength and good workability. The high nickel content gives the alloy resistance to corrosion by many organic and inorganic compounds and also makes it virtually immune to chloride stress-corrosion cracking. The alloy is not precipitation hardenable; it is hardened and strengthened only by cold working per ASTM B 166. Wire is available is size ranges from 0.020" - 0.500"
